Dr. Ulrich Klaedtke

Mr. Klaedtke was born in 1970 in Ulm. He studied law at Augsburg University with subsequent legal clerkship in Kempten. Mr. Klaedtke accomplished one of the stages of his legal clerkship in a solicitors’ office in Poole, England. In 1999, he started practicing as a lawyer with a law firm in Donauwörth, which he continued in 2003 in Bremen with a law firm specializing in competition and distribution law. Since December 2006, Mr. Klaedtke has been practicing with Schindhelm & Pfisterer.

In 2003, Mr. Klaedtke accomplished his doctoral thesis at Augsburg University on the time limit for the notice of defects pursuant to the CISG (United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods). In 2007, he successfully accomplished the course of lectures required for the qualification as “Specialist IT Lawyer”.

Mr. Klaedtke advises and litigates in domestic as well as international settings of commercial law with the following focuses:

 

  • IT law (in particular law of software development and licensing, devise of IT project contracts, e-commerce, domain law, telecommunication law)
  • distribution law (in particular domestic and international law of sales agents and licensed dealers)
  • law of industrial property (in particular competition law, copyright law, law of trademarks)
  • general commercial law (in particular law of sales and services contracts, conflicts of laws, and law of international civil procedure)

Mr. Klaedtke has repeatedly published articles in the field of his activity.

He advises in German and in English.
